Jennifer Pecoraro

Jen decided to open CODA fourteen years ago, in 2005. An accomplished teacher and choreographer, Jen has not only molded her students into well-rounded, successful dancers, but has provided them with a positive sense of self, allowing them to achieve feats they never thought possible.

As a young dancer, Jen trained under the direction of Jacques d’Amboise of the National Dance Institute then continued her training through local dance studios. She graduated the Freehold Regional Fine and Performing Arts Center at Howell High School, where she was chosen to perform at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Fl. From there she went on to Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, where she graduated with a BFA in dance in May 2002, as to which she credits all her success to. She continues her education through attending teacher seminars, workshops and conventions.

Jen has received numerous scholarships and awards for her talent in dancing and her devotion to her students. Her choreography has been showcased at regional and national level competitions, high school dance teams and at local and corporate benefits for charity. Just recently, Jen has been awarded the “Best Choreography” Award for her routines multiple years in a row! Her students have gone on to receive numerous dance championship titles, overall high scores and acceptance into high school and college level dance programs and dance teams.

Having explored several career opportunities in the past, Jen has found teaching dance to be her one true calling and has a passion for it no one can diminish. Jen currently resides in Jackson, NJ with her husband, Mike, her 2 daughters, Siena  & Lucia, and her cockapoo, Shea.
